Specific before polished.
Clarity about the business, audience and desired action beats a beautiful interface built on vague thinking.
I’m Angëlo | Faith Akinola Boyejo. I’m a full-stack developer, systems thinker and founder of The Web Maven.
I care about the part before the code: what the business is trying to do, why the current experience fails, and what the simplest useful system looks like.

The Web Maven exists to work the other way around.
Start with the business problem. Understand the audience. Make the structure visible. Then decide what deserves to be designed, engineered, automated or removed.
Strategy + design + engineering

Useful beats impressive.
The technology changes. The working rules stay readable.
Clarity about the business, audience and desired action beats a beautiful interface built on vague thinking.
Claims, metrics, testimonials and technical assurances should be earned. A website is not a place to manufacture confidence.
A gorgeous page that burns data, battery and patience is not a premium experience. Speed and accessibility are part of the interface.
Auth, access control, input handling, storage and failure paths are product decisions, not an appendix for later.
Strategy isn’t a phase. It’s the thing that tells the rest of the work what to do.
That is why TWM sits between consultancy and engineering: close enough to the business problem to question the brief, and close enough to the code to actually build the answer.
Those are usually more interesting than “make it look modern.”
